Spring into Summer to help 911 Memorial & Children’s Museum
For the sixth year in a row, the Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the approach of summer, pets and all things Oak Lawn from June 15th, 16th, and 17th.
Proceeds from this year’s event will go toward The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn, “We the People” exhibit and to put the finishing touches on the 911 First Responders Memorial at the Oak Lawn Metra Station - AKA Oak Lawn Patriot Station. Hawk Ford and Marquette Bank are key sponsors of the event.
Spring Into Summer will be located along Museum Drive from the Children’s Museum building running west towards the Metra Station. Friday will host a “Roof Top” New Car Show Preview Night on top of the commuter parking garage with entertainment, food, wine and beer.
Saturday will start off with the Annual Pet Parade at the Oak Lawn Hometown Middle School, 5345 W. 99th St. and will end at Museum Drive. There will also be a vendor fair, food, entertainment and plenty of children’s activities. The event will round off on Sunday with food and entertainment co-sponsored by Eva’s Bridal of Oak Lawn.

Saturday, June 16
Pet Parade (9:30 a.m. line up at Oak Lawn Hometown Middle School, 5345 W. 99th St)
New Car Show – ALL DAY on top of the Metra Garage
Vendor Fair, 10 am – 5 pm on Museum Drive and Metra Station.
Children’s Activities, 10 am to 2 pm
Sunday, June 17
Music and Food, Noon to 5 pm - Museum Drive and the Metra Station.
New Car Show, Noon to 5 pm - Top of the Metra Garage.
